The Port Angeles School District honors and acknowledges May 9th as Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe's Native American Day. We recognize that we are on Coast Salish people's indigenous lands, who have reserved territory rights to this land, specifically the Klallam tribes. We thank these caretakers of this land, who have lived and continue to live here since Time Immemorial. We are grateful for the Tribe's trust and Government-to-Government partnership that is growing stronger each year for our students.
