The annual Back to School Event brings several organizations together in a community effort to help prepare families who need assistance for the new school year. This year’s event was no exception, with nearly 1,000 children receiving services. Thanks to our many generous organizations, businesses and volunteers for supporting this outreach!
For the second year in a row, a teacher from Roosevelt Elementary has been selected as a finalist for the Teacher of the Year. Roosevelt Elementary Teacher Kathryn Lebuis Hartman is the 2020 Olympic Educational Service District (OESD) 114 Regional Teacher of the Year finalist.
The District has become aware of details of a second luring event that occurred last week, this time involving a Roosevelt Elementary student.
